In April the Columbus Jazz Band performed at the Music USA Festival where they earned superior (the highest) ratings from all three judges and won 1st place in the Jazz Band category. This is the 6ith year in a row that the band places first at this prestigious festival. The rhythm section which consists of Armando Lopez, Paul Garcia, Gabriel Lopez, Andres Ferret, CJ Bonomo, and Bobby Wollberg, won best section of the day. Brandon DeCaso and Andres Ferrett were chosen as outstanding soloists for the day as well.
