The Christopher Columbus News Network (CCNN) is a Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) award winning publication.  The studio has green screen technology, two teleprompters, several cameras, a DJ and a tri-caster. With the help of students from Mrs. Hidalgo’s Writing for Mass Media class and Mr. Delgado’s TV Production class, CCNN provides new information every day, covering topics from school and national news, to features, entertainment, and sports. The CCNN crew has achieved all this while serving Columbus students with daily announcements and important real time updates on our Twitter and Facebook page. Important everyday information, such as weather and the school lunch menu are streamed on a daily basis, as well as commercials paid for by our advertisers.
